How to Lock Ignite TV Program Listings by Rating

Follow the steps below to lock your program listings by rating, so that you don’t view content above a specific rating (e.g. 18+, 14+, PG, etc.).

Note: Episodes from a TV series may have different ratings based on the specific content in that episode. 

1. Press the Rogers button.  

2. Use the arrow buttons to highlight the Settings icon ⚙. Press Ok.

3. Use the arrow buttons to highlight Parental Controls. Press OK.

4. If you already set up a Parental Controls PIN, you’re prompted to enter your four-digit PIN. If you haven’t, you’ll be prompted to set up a PIN.  

5. Use the arrow buttons to highlight TV Ratings Locks. Press OK.

6. Use the arrow buttons to highlight the TV rating you wish to lock or unlock. Press OK.

• A grey open lock icon indicates unlocked TV ratings.

• A blue closed lock icon indicates locked TV ratings.

7. When finished, press Exit.
