Hi,
I have an Acer Liquid Metal running Android 2.2.2. I have plenty of available storage on my SD card, but because of the limited internal phone storage (I think it's 512 MB in total), I am constantly running up against a "low on space" message. This really affects functionality. I can't download additional apps any more and often cannot update existing ones I already have.
I love the phone and would greatly appreciate any advice to resolve this. The phone came pre-installed with a number of apps that I do not ever use. These do not have the option to uninstall, and along with several other apps I have, also cannot be moved to the SD card. I do not have a lot of contacts or other data that might take up space, and I delete my e-mail and text messages regularly.
Thanks a lot and best wishes,
Eric

if you do have pictures on your phone try using Picassa or something to store them online and free up space on your SD card.

Thanks for the replies everyone. They basically confirm what I was already thinking, which is a help. Without rooting, I have to manage every MB carefully.
Best,
Eric
