The next chapter in the Assassin's Creed series, Assassin's Creed Shadows, launches on March 20. Set in 16th-century Japan, the game blends history with action, letting players experience the era through two distinct characters: Naoe, a stealthy shinobi Assassin, and Yasuke, a powerful samurai inspired by the real historical figure. You’ll be able to switch between their unique playstyles—Naoe’s fast, stealth-based tactics and Yasuke’s strength-driven combat.
The game also features dynamic weather and seasonal changes that impact both the world and gameplay strategies. After launch, an expansion will take players to the mysterious island of Awaji, introducing new weapons, abilities, and content.
Assassin's Creed Shadows will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Ubisoft+, Amazon Luna, and Macs with Apple silicon (via the Mac App Store). It will also be playable on Windows PC through the Ubisoft Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
