Have you tried lowering your wireless security to WPA? If you have your wireless network merged into one for both 2.4GHz amd 5GHz instead if separating them. Separate them and lower the security of the 2.4GHz wireless to WPA. I don't think WEP is an option anymore so if your printer is that old. You might have to use a third oarty router that still allows a WEP security setting while in Access Point mode to allow it to connect.

Most printers also need to have the setup run again from the PC's you are accessing it from once connected to a new network. This is because the device will have a new internal IP on the new wireless network.

according to the product specifications from hp.com, this model printer has Wi-Fi as well as Ethernet connectivity.

Instead of getting frustrated with wifi, why not connect the printer directly with ethernet into your modem.

You see, a lot of people do not know this but even if you connect it wired to your modem with ethernet, it can still operate as a wireless printer, you do not have to connect any computers or laptops directly to your printer to print, it can still function wirelessly.

give this a try and let us know.
