Hi there,
With recent events, we are considering switching our RV internet service to Rogers from Starlink this season. We had a few questions (we are planning to sign up in the spring when we start the season again).
Thanks! We appreciate any insight, and really hoping that we've found a potential replacement here.

You can take it with you and I believe there is a seasonal suspension option. Just an fyi, it doesn’t do video very well at all.

Yes, be aware that streaming is limited to 3 Mbps, which will provide 720P equivalent video - it's in the details of the product. See the following thread on that topic:
Some people have reported that if you use a VPN, the streaming limit goes away and you can stream at the bitrate of your connection, but no guarantees from me.

Thanks! I wasn't sure if the ability to move the device was limited based on the modem you choose. I am a little worried about the video, but I figured I'd try it at least for a month and see if it's viable for us.
Appreciate the answer!

Thanks for the clarification! I did read the 3Mbps limit for streaming video. That's a little disappointing, but I figured we'd give it a shot to see if it's something that actually irritates us.
My thought process is that Starlink in very rural areas (like Elora, Ontario) sometimes buffers during peak times in the summer since Starlink Roam is deprioritized. Our speed at night in those areas is usually around 2-10Mbps in previous seasons. So if Rogers 5G Home Internet can consistently deliver 3Mbps streaming in those same areas, then it should actually be an improvement. I'd tinker with the VPN idea, since we could just do a Router->Router tunnel back home if it ends up being a big problem. It'd be nice to see them bump the streaming limit to at least 7Mbps for 1080p, given that they data cap the service anyway.
$60/month also sounds a lot better than $189/month, if we can make this work.
Thanks for the answers!
