One world!

Coming from another technophile, and based on all your travels worldwide what does the future behold for worldwide seamless roaming in the future?

I can see it eventually being  called "one  world" where the idea of roaming with your wirelesss device is now obsolete and global communication is now just a regular household thing people wake up to! What do you think?

In the short it's going to be tough, but in the long term, I definitely think it's possible.  The trick is that it's going to take carrier willingness and device compatibility  to make it happen. I believe VoLTE should help accelerate all of this.
