Setting up WhatsApp from Mexico?

Hi there.  I’ve installed an eSIM to use in Mexico and now am trying to install WhatsApp but the text confirmation from them doesn’t reach me. How can I setup my Roger’s SIM and my eSIM in order to get the confirmation text from WhatsApp and not be charged $15 to Roam like Home?  I’m in WiFi zone?  I’m using an iPhone 13.

I hope you don't intend tonuae What'sApp to make voice and video calls over. What'sApp can handoff to cellular without any notification, causing you to incur major roaming fees and costs. This is a What's well known issue that What'sApp does not want to address at all, leaving many customers with massive bills.

If you still want to get the confirmation to download it. Put your device in Airplane Mode and connect it to WiFi with WiFi Calling enabled.
