Hello,
I recently switched over to rogers (earlier this month) with 2 lines. My first one is fine, but the second I just got a notification saying "***-***-**** (number) will expire in 5 days" along with "This number is registered to your apple ID, but not associated with this phone. You can keep using the number for iMessage and Facetime until it expires."
For more details, when I go into phone settings it shows the correct number, and same with under apple ID settings. This phone also has an eSIM instead of a physical SIM. Could be the issue, but not sure.
Not really sure what to do, hard getting ahold of anyone from Rogers due to "high volume of calls".
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

if you ported your number from one phone company to another, then you get a temporary number for a very short while until your number moves over, your phone's text messages and facetime will activate with this temporary number, but since its only temporary, you do not need to register this number with your phone for ever and your phone is not smart enough to realize its a temporary number despite it being called a smart phone.
just go into your phone settings and disable imessage and face time, and re-register them again, it will see the correct phone number this time.
if you do not do this, then your friends can still call you but can not imessage or facetime you because those are apple specific features not rogers features. you can call apple about this instead of rogers since you are asking about a feature on a device that apple made not rogers.
