Hello @Gurm1 ,
Welcome to the community forums and thanks for your post! 🙂
It is definitely odd that you are able to receive phone calls, but cannot make calls, while roaming. Let's see if we can figure out what is happening!
Firstly, may I confirm, do your other services work fine? (incoming/outgoing text messages, mobile data, etc.)
Have you been able to place a call successfully at all since landing in India?
Are you in an area that has a strong wireless connection?
Have you tried calling various contacts and every call has failed? Is there any automated message when it fails?
Also, here are some things you can try:
- Check your device settings to ensure there are no blocks and make sure you are not in Airplane mode and your mobile data is enabled.
-Ensure your Caller ID is not turned off (Settings > Supplementary services > Show your caller ID > always enabled
- Try rebooting your device (power it all the way off for a few seconds and then back on again, retest)
- Try selecting a different wireless carrier from your settings and retest.
Please let us know if you are able to resolve your issue and how. We look forward to any updates on your issue!
Kind regards,
RogersYasmine

Please read the post above yours which contains many questions and suggestions. Then provide additional information based on those tips and questions.
PS. If you search this forum for "India" or similar terms, you'll find a few similar threads. It seems that Canadian providers do not negotiate agreements with all Indian providers (there are many), hence there can be issues depending on your location.
