Hello, @Frank68.

We are delighted you joined our Community, and we thank you for your post.

We appreciate your interest in controlling your Sharp monitor with Rogers Xfinity Voice Remote. The Sharp PN-Y496 is a professional display monitor, and it doesn’t come with a built-in tuner or TV functionality, so it may not be directly compatible with your Shaw/Rogers remote, which is typically designed for set-top boxes, TVs and audio systems.

You can check Rogers XR15 – URC Support to learn how to pair TVs and audio systems.

Let us know if you have further questions.

Cheers,

RogersMoin

I downloaded the manual for this monitor, link below:

https://business.sharpusa.com/portals/0/downloads/Manuals/PN-Y_326_436_496_556_Operation_Manual.pdf

Although it is a monitor, it seems to allow for volume control and external speakers (if applicable), so the instructions for the Rogers remote may provide a code to control TV on/off and volume/mute...  Click on "Setup", "TV"  click on Sharp and say you don't know the model number. There are only 5 possible codes under Sharp.  Give each one a try.

If you're using an external audio system, then, after setting up the TV,  you would need to have the remote control set up to control volume on the audio system, again following the instructions provided by @RogersMoin above.
