Received this phone number (18339491109l with ROGERS as caller ID showing on screen. Is that a scam or real call from Rogers

@Lazycow8850 : Any phone number or name display can be spoofed (look it up on the web if you're unfamiliar with that term), therefore we cannot comment if it's a scam or not. One thing you can do is look up the number on the web to see if it matches for Rogers or for scammers. If it's Rogers, you should be able to call them back. Here's a set of tips to avoid phone scams.
I searched the phone number and found comments regarding Rogers telemarketers, but no links to Rogers websites.

When ever I get a phone call from a number I dont recognize: I always enquire on the status of my extra large anchovy & pineapple with Chocolate sauce pizza or I order an extra large Pizza. *IF* it is a legit call from "said cell provider" they wont just hang up. *IF* I miss a call from a number I dont recognize I google search the number, if it is a Canadian number I try calling it back. 90% of the time it comes back as a spoofed number (this number isn't activated or its no longer in service)
