Got a call from *removed for privacy* claiming to be Rogers. Stating that I would be getting a credit on my account for the next two years and also receive a new iPad (yeah right) when I started asking questions-because I don’t trust any random number who calls me-they got annoyed and then hung up on me. They stated the last four digits of my phone number and that’s it. They asked for my email address-which I gave and then immediately asked if they are from Rogers-should t THEY already know it? He stated that he was in the wrong department to see that info then proceeded to ask what iPad I wanted I said I did t want one-then he said they would send me an Apple Watch-again-I said I didn’t want or need one-and then he hung up. I called back and it went to some random girls voicemail-but no name. Anyways. Stay smart kids. Just try and remember if anyone calls you-it’s 99.9% a scam. The more you know……

Yes this indeed has all the signs of a scam
Be careful of posting the phone number, as it seems it does not belong to a scammer but an unsuspecting individual who's number was spoofed.
The person who owns that number has no idea that scammers were using her number for outgoing calls, they can use anyone's number even yours, so would you want your number plastered all over the forums? probably not.
