Hi Everyone...
I am looking for the option to forward a @rogers.com email address, but to no avail.
When I log into the rogers.yahoo.com web portal, the option to forward your email has disappeared.
Can someone confirm this? I know if you had pre-set email forwarding, prior to January 2021, the option is still there, I believe. But after that, the option is gone.
Can @RogersCorey perhaps assist with this?
Thanks...!

Hi @themysteryone!
Thank you for your post. Rogers Yahoo mail no longer supports the forwarding feature.
Yahoo supports the auto-forwarding feature for the Yahoo Mail pro clients. However, a pro version is not available for @rogers.com emails.
Thank you for your understanding!

Good Morning.
Can I simply express my displeasure at this change to a longstanding feature of Rogers email. I find the removal of a standard email feature, and the fact that, to the best of my knowledge, there was no communications about this - fully unacceptable. I appreciate the "Thank you for your understanding!" but I am not understanding.
Perhaps this is rooted in the evolving relationship[ between Rogers and Yahoo (since that feature remains an option for Yahoo clients), but can only encourage Rogers to consider an alternate email platform... one that is fully featured.

What a joke Rogers has become. Seriously, do the executives of this company have no shame. Can't forward email, can't use Outlook as an email client any longer. What a joke.

I understand why yahoo may not provide this option to its subscribers,
Actually, Yahoo does offer this as an option if you are a paid (Premium) subscriber. Rogers/Yahoo! does not. Rogers is unlikely to spend any more money on e-mail and I believe the writing for Rogers e-mail is on the wall, even if it might take years - see link below.

I am not only replacing my rogers.com email account, but also, switching my mobile and internet services to a different provider.

@samzarei : Are you going to be using the e-mail of your new service provider, or going with a third party service like Gmail or Yahoo! (not Rogers/Yahoo!)? If the former, you may end up in the same predicament, so the latter is recommended, so that you can easily switch providers or move your location.

I'm thinking of that too but my Rogers email is used everywhere...

I already created a new outlook.com email which can work on outlook but I can't seem to create it in IMAP only POP which is not great...

Realy, this is unacceptable. Biggest internet provider, and their email does not work with the biggest email program (Outlook) in the world. Will be moving to different provider. It's obvious that Rogers does not care about its clients.

@brianwithoneeye : Actually Rogers e-mail does work with the latest subscribed version of Outlook 365 or Office 365. It will also work with Thunderbird for PC, or most apps on phones or tablets. See the following post on the topic:
https://communityforums.rogers.com/t5/Internet/Can-t-create-App-password/m-p/524346#M78355
It is likely that Rogers will eventually, (in a few years?) shut down Rogers e-mail per the following FAQ:
https://www.rogers.com/support/internet/rogers-yahoo-mail-change-faq
This thread is about forwarding e-mails from Rogers (to say another e-mail address). Although that is not possible, Gmail does have a feature where it can "fetch" emails from Rogers accomplishing the same thing.

Please add this function back. Why forwarding is not part of the email structure boggles the mind. No wonder this post has zero likes. C'mon Rogers! For what you charge this should be a no brainer.

@tmorgan As indicated in the post above yours, it is likely that Rogers will eventually not have e-mail at all (second link in my post. This function will not be added back.
Also, some people may not agree, however, Rogers charges nothing directly for e-mail service. It comes with your internet service.
What you can do is utilize say Gmail and "import" your messages using the settings there, which accomplishes the same thing.
