See below how to set up Call Forwarding using star codes on your phone set.

Turn on Call Forwarding for all calls

  1. From your home phone dial *72.
  2. Enter the 10-digit phone number to which you want your calls forwarded.

Note: If you forward your calls to a telephone number outside your local calling area, the usual long distance charges will be billed to your account if the call is answered at that number. You will also need to dial 1 before dialing the 10-digit the number.

  1. Someone needs to accept the call when it rings through to the number you want to forward to. Once the call is answered, stay on the line for a minimum of five seconds or Call Forwarding won’t be activated.

If the line you want to call forward to is busy or there is no answer:

  1. Pick up your phone and dial *72 again.
  2. Redial the phone number that you want your calls forwarded to.
  3. You will hear two beeps, confirming that Call Forward is activated.
  4. Hang up your phone.

Turn off Call Forwarding

  1. Pick up the handset and listen for the dial tone.
  2. Dial *73.
  3. Listen for two beeps and hang up.

Notes:

  • If someone tries to call you while Call Forward is on, your home telephone will ring briefly to remind you that the service is activated. You can make outgoing calls, but you can’t receive any calls.
  • If you subscribe to voicemail and forward calls to an alternate number, your Rogers Home Phone voicemail won’t receive messages.
  • Only one call can be forwarded at a time. If the line is currently forwarding a call, all calls will get a busy signal until the forwarding is complete.
  • Call Forwarding can only be used to forward calls to Canadian and U.S. numbers.

If you’re subscribed to the Home & AwayTM Online Manager you can manage Call Forwarding online using your MyRogers account.
