How does the Search feature on this site work?

Today is my first day on this website. I press the 3 bars on the top left corner and drill down to Smart Home Monitoring. Then I type for example “recording” and hit enter. The system is displaying all posts with the word “recording” instead of limiting within Smart Home Monitoring.
What am I doing incorrectly in search?

I really appreciate that you tried to utilize the search feature instead of posting a duplicate topic. With the search function you do have to enter the product to narrow down the results.

You can also use the Advanced search option to filter out the results.
