I now have a Galaxy A15 and can send sms, so later today, will do a Macrium image backup of my computer (for safety) and then upgrade my Thunderbird to the latest stable version (v132.0).Hopefully this will work. Will let you know. Dave

Thanks for your suggestion. One of my problems is that I do not have a smart phone and cannot receive SMS messages, so cannot do the MFA yet. Will buy a phone with voice, text and data plan tomorrow so I can get around this problem. Will get back...
