Although it is annoying that Rogers can block extended coverage access it does make sense from a business prospective because if Rogers gave customers unlimited extended coverage access then Bell and Telus wouldn't get any customers and vice versa.
I called Rogers and asked them about it and the representative said that you will be able to allocate certain amounts of data to different lines and more ways to manage your data but it's not gonna be available for another week or so.
