Just circling back...my issues seems to have gone away since firmware update...Maybe for those who are experiencing same issue...check firmware verison and see if this applies to your modem?
To give an update, my modem got a firmware update (automatically) this morning. It is now at 7.2.4.1.4b15.Crossing fingers this is the fixed for the ongoing issue.
