Is the Rogers Xfinity Stream app any different than the one you can sideload?   Are there functional or operational differences?

I've tried the process on the Amazon Fire TV Stick (3rd Gen) and when executing the URL I am blocked "This site could be risky - Advanced Security blocked access to".  Selecting "Visit Anyway" doesn't work. Any options?
