Have you tried rebooting as @RogersPrasana suggested? When you say PVR function not working, what exactly do you mean? Is the PVR not recording at all? We would need more details to assist with troubleshooting this further.

Have you tried resetting/rebooting your box from the troubleshooting menu? If it's not happening on live TV but only on recorded content, it could possibly be hardware related. Let us know if resetting it makes any difference.
