@hiho The Ignite HomeConnect app is basically a Rogers-branded version of the Xfinity Xfi app. Currently, if you need to do anything but the most basic configuration of an Ignite Gateway, you need to use the Android or iOS-based mobile app. Rogers won't comment on any upcoming, unannounced changes to their service offerings... but I don't see signs of any other options for any other platforms on the horizon. There's always a chance that Comcast could bring back the web portal some day but, again, I have not seen any signs if this happening.

Thanks for the nfo
Typical rogers thinking lets upgrade our services so that not all peeps can access all of the apps features that are needed to have more control and access to all of the ignite services .
bad enough that we got forced into this ignite upgrade now if we want to access all of it we need to have a cell phone and or a tablet to use it 😞
Well so far i have had 3 issues that i have tried to solve and none of them are doable

It is indeed pretty rare these days that someone in the home doesn't have a cell phone or tablet. Simply for the sake of insurance when out of the home or in the home, if the home phone service goes down, it is very good idea these days to have a cell phone for emergencies.
One can purchase a used phone or new "older model" phone for about $100-200, or even free from a friend or relative who upgrade their phone/tablet every 2 years 😉 . One can then subscribe to a $10-15/mo pre-paid plan. I believe this is good insurance for anyone...
Some tablets are available for roughly the same price, but one needs to check compatibility for various apps, etc.
Devices can be used for purposes like Rogers apps, other apps, e-reading, GPS, e-mail, weather apps, camera, etc. and they don't even require a plan (some functionality may require WiFi). Any cell phone can dial 911 without a plan or SIM.
Good luck with your various issues.

awsome soulution spend more money to access all of rogers servicies
100.00 for a phone then 120.00 to 150.00 per year
since i have no need for a cell phone or a tablet now or in the near future guess ill just have to forget accessing all of my new and improved ignite app or anything else that using other os then windows.

Hello, @hiho
We appreciate you posting your concern to the community.
Based on the title of this thread, are you looking to access your Ignite TV app via PC or the Ignite HomeConnect to mange your Wi-Fi?
You can access the Ignite TV app via PC by visiting: https://ignitetv.rogers.com/. You can find more details here.
I hope this helps!
