Connecting iPad to LG TV with new Ignite box does not work

Little confused?

Trying to connect an iPad, to the TV via screen mirroring of some form?  And play the content on there, through the TV?
I know the App is very picky about playback content via sharing and doesnt generally work? (licensing issues, etc probably).

The Ignite TV box shouldnt have anything to do with the others.
