I have to agree... If you want to get "fancy" you need to run your own
router. This has the added benefit that when you have to swap modems
(e.g. upgrade your service) it has zero impact on your network.
I just "sidegraded" for Extreme to Fibre 30/5 with the +200GB add on.
This jumps me from 120GB to 270GB of bandwidth at essenially the same
speed and cost. To get the "upgrade" they insisted that I exchange my
modem. Since I had a Cisco DCP3825 I ass...
