Adjusting Brightness level

  1. Go to your Applications and select Settings.
  2. In the Device section click on Display, and scroll down to Settings until you see Brightness Level. Then adjust!

 

Review Battery Usage

  1. From the Applications screen go to Settings.
  2. In the Device section click on Power management, and in the Power information section click on Battery Usage.
  3. This list shows you all the apps that are consuming your phone’s battery so you can control which ones you need and which ones you don’t.

 

Turning off Wi-Fi & Bluetooth

  1. Just go to Applications, then Settings, and then Wireless & Networks.
  2. Click on Wi-Fi & Bluetooth to temporarily disable them

 

Closing Active Programs & Apps

  1. From the Applications screen go to Settings.
  2. In the Device section select Apps and swipe right on the heading until you get to Running.
  3. From here you can stop any apps that you don’t need running in the background all the time.

 

Turning off GPS

  1. Start from the Applications screen and go to Settings.
  2. In the Personal section select Location and toggle it Off.

 

Animated Wallpapers and Screensavers

Avoid using animated wallpapers or screensavers. We know they look pretty, but your battery will thank you if you get rid of them.
