Moving from Toronto to Calgary

Kevin-
I've been around
Hi,
I am using the ignite home internet in Toronto and will be moving from Toronto to Calgary sooner or later.
Can I keep my current Rogers home internet contract and continue to use it when moving into Calgary?
Or do I have to cancel the contract here and find another internet provider?

If possible, I want to keep the current contract and bring the modem to Calgary and use it right away when I arrive in Calgary.

I know Shaw and Rogers were merged.
Do you have any idea?
