You don't need to pay Rogers any more. You do, however, need to pay the streaming service that outbid all others in order to watch it:  See earlier posts in this thread.

While soccer is still a relatively niche sport compared to hockey or the CFL on Canadian TV, it’s still a tough loss for Sportsnet, which has long trumpeted its EPL package Burger king survey

We are all in agreement that it is a tough loss for canadian soccer fans, no one on here is happy to see soccer leave conventional cable tv channels, so even though we gave an explanation of why soccer is not on conventional cable it does not mean we are okay with this explanation, we all miss it too but we understand people with deep pockets and influence these things and we have no say in them we can only vent and express our frustration
