I've been a religious subscriber to the super sports pack (probably missed one year, and that's it...)
Here's my question for you all.
Rogers has traditionally offered NHL Gamecenter live when you subscribe to the Supoer Sports Pack and/or NHL Center Ice. Gamecenter Live allows you to watch games online. For me, GameCenter Live is a critical part of my Rogers subscription since I'm on the road often and need to have the flexibility to watch games on the road or at home.
What concerns me is that this is the first year that I don't see any mention of gamecenter live being included with center ice/super sports pack subscription.
Can someone from Rogers confirm whether or not it is included? Shaw, Bell and other subscriber are and if this is the difference, I'll have to switch (although I really don't want to!)
Solved! Solved! Go to Solution.
Can anyone advise? I've called in 4 times and no CS reps can tell me the answer....please help...I don't want to go to Telus or Bell, but may be forced to with the lack of any answer.
I have sent you a private message with regards to this issue. I wanted to let you know we're still looking into it, and will hopefully have an answer for you tomorrow. Last year, the codes went out in the third week of October, so it will probably be the same this year - but I'm trying to get confirmation.
Thanks for your patience!
FINALLY - i can't tell you what it means to me that someone at Rogers is looking into this. I have all my servicesthrough Rogers and spend close to $200 a month with you guys. Now that the hockey season has started, this is a BIG deal to me, and something where I may have to move my services to get the services I need.
I didn't get the code until november last year, and am hoping I can get the code earlier this year - to lose a month of services would be problematic.
Hoping I hear from ya today before i jump ship....
but THANKS for trying on my behalf!!!
I'm also looking for info regarding the promo code for NHL Gamecenter Live.. I am a subscriber to super sports pack.. and can't seem to get the code.. Rogers on the phone have no clue what I'm talking about..
Rogers: "You don't need to enter a code Sur. It comes up on your TV automatically." - Priceless
Thanks for your help
Just an update - members of the business are currently in a meeting discussing this. I will let you know the outcome tomorrow!
Really apologize for the delay.
Great news....a ton of people are now going to be watching this thread...
We all have the same question and would love nothing better than to order Center Ice and/or the Super Sports Pack provided we can get the GCL for free as has been done for the last 3 years.
Why is Rogers unable to figure out some reasonable system to deliver these codes? Every year it seems like a scramble to figure out how to get something we're paying for - it's a joke.
Last year, my first with Center Ice through Rogers, I had to find a thread on some random forum that gave me an email address to try - thankfully it worked. This year, here I am, season's started, Googling to find an answer of "we're figuring it out".
Sorry, not acceptable, we're paying for this. You should be more than capable of providing this information to people who have paid for Center Ice with the promise that it includes Game Center.
I have to agree unfortunately with the above poster...it just seems as there is the runaround every year about this. With customer service reps having NO clue what we are talking about...and random forums providing information.
Rogers can and needs to do better.
As Rogers CS rep said, we should have had a response yesterday in time for the Saturday night games. Can we PLEASE have a response to the question today so we can order in time for the games today?
Perhaps by clicking "like" to this post, they will know that many of us need answers to this question and be empowered to make the *right* decision.
My guess is that the upper executive decided against it on Friday and they are devising a carefully worded statement for those of us affected...
Looking up the Bell and Telus offers just in case!
