Recently we connected to the digital cable and now we lost a station as it is showing black. How do I get the station back as it was showing before - CTV Newsworld channel 17. Is there a feature on the remote that will allow the station to be reactivated?

Which box are you using? In general, if the screen is just black, and Not showing you some kind of error message, then its either an issue with the station or the box.
Roboot the box (unplug, wait 30 seconds or so, then plug it back in and turn it on.)
Thanks I tried that and it doesn't work. It appears I have more channels that I used to get that I am not getting anymore besides the one I quoted. I have a Netbox Explorer 4642HD.
Have you called Rogers? That would be my first step. I get CTV Newsworld on 18. Are you in Ottawa?

What city are you in?
London is the city. Missing stations CTV Newsworld (channel 17), City TV (channel 7), Omni 1 - (channel 4), Omni 2 - (channel 14), channel 18 - Shopping Network will have to go through to see what else is missing, but so far I had these channels and now its just showing black...
It does sound like signal issue, how about the performance of other cable services like Internet and home phone? In most cases other services may not be affected.
