Hello @Sage2,

Welcome to the Community!

I do not quite understand what you are referring to. Can you please provide more details?

Thanks,

Re: Remote access services website?

Hello @Sage2,

Are you referring to software that allows others (ex: a trusted friend, consultant, etc) to connect to your computer? If so, I recommend TeamViewer (www.teamviewer.com) - free for personal use, I have used it to support family members.

You can also "share your screen" from Instant Messaging apps, such as:

- Skype (www.skype.com),

- Yahoo Messenger (https://ca.messenger.yahoo.com/)

Windows has a built-in tool called "Windows Remote Assistance", but I have not used it.

I hope this helps!

On the remote I click quick menu, remote access it's disabled-I go to enable and it says Welcome to Remote Access Services. Enter the following code online at your cable operators website to complete setup for the cable box. What is the website that they are referring to?

Re: Remote access services website?

What remote are you talking about?

Is this a TV remote?

Or another type of device like a TiVo or other DVR, type thing, you are trying to connect to a rogers box/cable?

Sorry for all the questions.. just never seen this before..

Where roughly do you live? And what model box is it?

Is it one you got from a rogers store, etc? Or bought used.

Wondering if its an activation/needs to be added to the account..
Though that message isnt normally what happens..

@Sage2

In a year and a half of working in customer care, I have never heard what you are referring to.

Even the mods don't know what you're referring to.

Whatever it is, it isn't necessary to use your TV. Just ignore it.
