Picture is too big for TV

I have two TV's which use the same cable box.  On both TV's the image is so big that heads are cut off at the top and writing is missing from the left and right sides.

I have formatted the TV with every option available but the only thing that changes is the width of the black bars on the side.

I have unplugged both TV's and box for a minute and plugged back in.  Nothing changed.

Any ideas how I can fix this?

Thanks!

Does that have something to do with the aspect button on the cable boxes remote?

Check that, it may have been touched by accident.

Which box are you using?

And how is it connected? Via what type of connection?

Like denisecanuck said. I'd check the aspect button on the remote. I seems like you may have inadvertently set the aspect to one of the zoom settings..
