Re: NextBox Navigatr - October/November 2016 Deployment

Hello @jinx8910,

This is not a common occurrence with the most recent version of Navigatr (hopefully, you get it soon if you have not already).

Have you tried rebooting / re-starting the box?

Re: NextBox Navigatr - October/November 2016 Deployment

Hey Community,

Starting today, we’re rolling out the new Navigatr software updates to some NextBox cable customers in communities in Toronto and Etobicoke.

As we’ve worked towards this rollout, we’ve highlighted some of the new functionality you can look forward to, including:

    • The choice to see recorded programs displayed in (Poster Art) or list-view (text-only)
    • Multiple programs can be deleted at once
    • A updated and refreshed look to Rogers on Demand and Get More TV

The update will be going out to the rest of the customers in communities across our Ontario cable footprint this week. We hope you enjoy your refreshed Navigatr experience!

Hi, can someone from Rogers please let me know when (specific day this week) the update will get deployed to Vaughan (Cityview Blvd & Canada Dr)?  Thanks.

Hey @toolcubed,

Vaughan is included in the final update later this week. As soon as I get an update, I will let the Community know.

I can delete the program without FFing to the end. However a tile remains in the recorded screen.  I can't get rid of the tile.  Has anyone else had this problem?  I'm sorry if this has been answered elsewhere but I'm looking for a quick fix.  I've been away for a week and am trying to catch up on hours of tv and this delete issue is cluttering up what I've got left

@jinx8910

R U deleting a single program or was this recording set-up as a series ?

Deleting one program in a series will not get rid of the tile, but it will likely move

it around in your pile-of-tiles.

Yes I have. Twice.  The blank panels remain in the recorded page.  There is also no option of permanently deleting a series.

Try the following to delete a zombie (or other) series recording.

1. Find the zombie (or other scheduled series recording) in your tiles view

2. Select the zombie or scheduled series recording.

3. Select "Scheduled" on the right side (on the right side of the screen.

4. Select "Cancel Series Recordings" (which becomes visible after step 3.)

Confirm

Edit: Correction in Bold per post below (thanks @robindp

Try the following to delete a zombie series recording.

1. Find the zombie in your tiles view (should be between your recorded and scheduled recorded programming.

2. Select the zombie.

3. Select "Scheduled" on the right side.

4. Select "Cancel Scheduled Recordings" (which becomes visible after step 3.)

Confirm

Hello @jinx8910,

Small correction to steps provided by 57:

- Find the zombie recording on your tiles view.

- Select the zombie tile and open it.

- Select Scheduled on right-side.

- Select Cancel Series Recording on right side.

- Select Yes and press "OK/Select" to confirm.

These steps will work on the new Navigatr software - 57's steps continue to work on previous versions.
