As was asked of the other users..  we would need a little more information.

 

A) how is your TV connected.. just from the wall to the TV, or is there a digital box?

B) if so, what digital box do you have?

 

C) what is the exact issue?  Is there no picture at all on a channel?  Is there a message?  Is it jumpy? (picture then nothing at all), or is it all garbled?

Gord & Gdkitty, In my case, a) problem on 2 TV's with HD boxes b) Don't know type of HD boxes as am not home now. c) just completely black screen - no message I finally phoned Rogers support and the only way to resolve the problem was a full reboot. They walked me through it. Important to follow instructions on which cables to connect first and other things I don't recall right now to get a proper reboot. Problem can come back after a power failure - happened to me - but just called Rogers support again and had them walk me through the proper reboot procedure.

Yeah, first rule of thumb, is a reboot always 🙂
You can do a simple one, via just unplugging the box... but there are some other issues which can be fixed by a reset/reboot via the menu's, likely as they walked you through.

I frequently have that problem with CP24 HD. It's been out all day today.

There was a time when a reboot would bring it back now even that doesn't work.

Which area do you live in? I live in Scarborough ( Midland & Kingston) & its been working fine all day. I asked a couple of others in East York & North York & they said it worked fine all day as well.

I should add that it's now 11:30 pm and we still have a black screen on CP24 HD.

The non high definition channel is working.

I checked NORTH of toronto.. seemed fine there.

Might be something specific to the K/W area.
No other channels were effected?
(ruling out just pure signal issue)

Hmm are any other HD channels working? or is it just CP24HD?

Could be just the area you are in that is having a issue or something internal. Have you tried contact Rogers cable department to see?
