No live qualifying?sportsnet likes to show bloopers and poker rather than live qualifying for the honda indy.what a joke.
Then put qualifying up against the jays.
With coverage like this, wont need to worry about the indy for long anyway.

The Honda Indy is definitely a big event especially since it's in Toronto. Rest assured we wouldn't pass up on the opportunity to broadcast this for our customers. It's been airing since 8:00 PM on Sportsnet 360.
It really depends on your area which channel on the dial that would be. You can find it by searching using the guide the channel name in the guide will be 360.
It's running until 9:30 PM tonight and it looks like it will be airing again tomorrow afternoon from 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM on Sportsnet 360.
Thats not live....that was run this afternoon.
Sportsnet was running bloopers and poker while the live qualifying was on.
Shows complete lack of commitment by sportsnet to cover something local with any kind of respect for the concept of "live and local".
This is more a show of complete distain for the event and its fans.
Unfortunately Rogers cable has no say in the content aired on its channels. The good news is that the owner of the channel has the control of what is aired. The owner of SportsNet is Rogers Media, although its owned by the same parent company people may not understand how to express their concerns and direct them at Rogers Cable by miatake but you should contact Rogers Media/SportsNet and voice your opinion. They DO listen to their customers.
The race tonight from Iowa is only available on your premium channel SportsWorld. As TV and Internet subscribers, how can we watch this race (on TV or online) without incurring extra subscription costs? BTW, your lack of race broadcasts on regular channels this year is a disgrace. Certainly lowers the value of your services to us, as IndyCar races were always available on regular Sportsnet channels. Thanks
@SallyB : This is not the first race that is "missing". This year roughly half of the IndyCar races are not available without paying a premium. Unfortunately, many sports are going to the highest bidder for the "broadcast rights" and in some instances, like certain soccer games, etc, the event is no longer even available on "traditional TV".
As soon as people started "cutting the cord" the various organizations, like DAZN, etc. were formed and bid for those rights and you have to pay a premium to watch.
The service providers like Rogers are not directly responsible for this problem, unless they are also "broadcasters" which they are in this instance, but is not the case for many of the sports that are no longer available. In the past few years I've lost lots of my favourite motor racing (SuperBike, MotoGP, WRC, etc) to premium (or other) channels that are no longer part of my package. You'll have to decide if you're willing to pay to watch/stream whatever it is you're interested in. Here's a thread on IndyCar in case you're interested:
PS. IndyCar has a very small audience in comparison to most other sports - see post below:
Thanks for your response. I already knew all of that.
Back to my post, any idea how I can get the broadcast without subscribing to Sportsnet Wordl?
