1502, we will need a LITTLE more info on the problem, to be able to help
Connection reseting HOW?
Which box are you using?
Have you tried swaping cables?
Was there something in the first post before? What is the issue?
I have had three failures of the HDMI signal from 3 different boxes. This becomes very painful to have to keep changing units.
Does anyone have any idea how to reset the HDMI output.
The guy at the rogers store said I'm the only one he has seen with this problem
No video at all on HDMI. I.ve gone through 5 boxes. They were on 1080p. I've switched to 1080i. Thanks..
Rogers is no help at all.
Mine always booted up with HDMI 720. I switched to 1080P and some of them lasted a week two of them less than a day.
I'm on 1080i now and only time will tell.
I also have a problem with the boxes rebooting for no apparent reason. Just happened at 9:30 PM with a new box I got today. It came back up with HDMI intact.
It sounds to me like something is mismatched...output is not compatible with the input on the next appliance, or your HDMI cables are not good.
Also check that your power coming in is steady, i.e. not fluctuating wildly up and down as that would cause failures, and not getting interrupted, as in a loose power plug.
Also I hope the cable guy checked the signal strength coming into your place?
Nobody normally needs to go through so many boxes like that.
