HDMI cable for 4K

Hello,

I have a 4K nextbox terminal and would like to install it approx 20 feet away from the TV in another room

Is there a limit on the length of HDMI cable to use and should  i use a  22 or 24wg thickness cable.

Re: HDMI cable for 4K

At 20' a 22ga cable may work. Make sure it's labelled for 4K or "ultra high speed" or similar.  It may be better to get a cable that uses Redmere technology instead.  They are available online and a lot easier to install because they're not so thick.  Again, check the specs.

Thanks, I got a Redmere cable and it works good. Even resolved a problem i had with some channels freezing and pixelatting.
