AnyplaceTV on desktop doesn't have a guide like on my tablet...
i'm sure there's a rational explanation for this...the AnyplaceTV app on my iPad shows me the guide and i can click to watch any show currently on air - i.e. live as if i was watching on TV. The browser based AnyplaceTV doesn't have that at all. In other words, i can't use my computer to watch what i would watch on TV. I hope this makes sense and thanks for any advice.

There's an explanation, all right - you get to decide how rational it is.
The iPad app you're talking about is called "Anyplace TV Home Edition" - which gives you the guide, manage your PVR, use your tablet as a remote and the ability to stream certain channels live.
The browser site is simply "Anyplace TV" - which is more like Rogers On Demand...allowing you to purchase movies or watch other on demand content.
In order to view the guide in your browser, you have to log in to MyRogers on the Rogers website. Then, you select Products and Services-TV and either "View My Guide" or "Manage my Recordings". This gives you similar functionality to the Home Edition app, without the live streaming option.
