Just logged into Anyplace TV is missing a ton of channels on both website version as well as APP version. Is there a reason for this?
just wondering whats up with space channel and cant remember the other i see that space is now 55SCIFIS which i can get on my tv np but not with anyplace tv
k so now that i am in the right spot and read the posts here basically i am up a creek with out a paddle to get back the channels that i used to have now that they have changed 😞 it figures i only watch a few channels and they had to be the ones that are gone now
There has been a huge CTV "rebrand". See the following link:
The usage rights to these channels may have changed since I believe they are Bell owned. If this has happened, then there's nothing Rogers can do (Rights can be different for TV, vs Streaming, etc). Also, Rogers may simply not have applied them properly to Anyplace. Contact Rogers and express your displeasure. I find the following link useful for that:
As 57 mentioned, Bell Media recently rebranded some of their specialty channels to align with their CTV trademark.
Space -> CTV Sci Fi
Bravo - > CTV Drama
Comedy -> CTV Comedy
Gusto (?) -> CTV Life
As for Anyplace TV, I can stream Sci Fi on Anyplace TV on both my phone and PC. Have you tried logging out and back into the app?
Both on desktop and on iOS app, CNN is no longer available in the "Guide". Channel 33 and 545.
Can someone at Rogers please explain this???
It can be very frustrating to have your channels disappear on you without any warning.
We've sent you a private message so we can take a closer look at this for you. Thanks so much for reporting this issue.
If you aren't familiar with our private messaging system please click here.
We look forward to your response.
I am also incredibly frustrated as two of the channels that I regularly watched have also disappeared from the app and website for Anyplace TV. TLC (34) and MSNBC (185). No notice & no explanation.
Could someone from Rogers please advise?? Thanks.
@ON_the_road : There would have been a paragraph in your latest Rogers bill regarding MSNBC and some other channels. See the following link: I realize that a lot of people don't read their bills, however, programming/channel changes are announced there in advance.
There was also discussion regarding MSNBC in the following Anyplace thread:
As for TLC. I don't recall seeing anything on that. Perhaps there's an error?
Edit - I just checked and 34 TLC is available on my Anyplace browser.
