I am asking about subnetmask. Is your working 4K box show 0.0.0.0 ?

My working HD and HDPVR all have subnetmask!!!!

I have feeling its the subnet issue.

Both my PVR and HD box have subnet byt the 4K box doesnt get subnet!!!!

Mine shows

Subnet Mask = n/a

Just adding my problem / voice to the angry mix.

 

Samsung UN60JS8000.  

 

4K box will not download its software.  Two techs, three boxes, two tickets, and 4 days of waiting.

I wonder why it's not doing this. I do remember the first time I got my box i had issues like this which the tech fixed but i can't remember how.

I hear you 😞 For me is over 7 days... 3rd box and 3 Tech including STech.

I have sony TV and one of the STech on the phone mentioned that to leave TV not connected to the box. Tried that but still the same

 

Just got a text from Rogers that they need to send A tech to my house.....

I wonder what he is going to do? Replace the box again or reboot 50 times!!!

Most likely or they might have more knowledge about the issue and can fix it? Who knows but i do truly hope it gets fixed 😞

Hey guys,

 

I'm back I doubt I have much to add.

 

On my 2nd 4K Netbox is still not working on my Sony. I tried changing my actual cable plan as the codes for my basic cable plan operation were not in order (should flow A-Z) 

 

I also gave tech support the exact IP of my 4K Netbox so if it works I will post later today.

 

I am 6 days in and endless hours trying to get this resolved. 

 

Hold "EXIT" on the remote until the Netbox beging to blink Red and Blue - then pre the down botton twice and hit #2 

This will give you a huge menu of info.

Network

 

There you will get your IP.

 

Waiting to see.

Thanks... All tried befor and still no luck

I was under impression that since I dont have subnet mask maybe that is the issue but nope!

 

Tech is comong back tomorrow I have no idea to do what but maybe they know how to fix this.
