Hello @seadooxp30

Agreed. In the end it's a Rogers issue which needs to be taken care of asap. Some may get it working but most are stuck having it not working with trying eveything that was suggested on here and by techs.

Meowmix,

If you have any means of pushing Rogers from your channel please do so. I'm at dead end!

After 2 weeks I just dont know who to call ...

Thanks

Re: 4K tv not working

Hello Community,

We are aware that some users are experiencing issues obtaining the 4K feed with their equipment. We have sent this feedback to the respective teams and they are working to get it resolved soon. For those users whom are currently in contact with Rogers Technical Support regarding this, please continue to work with that team.

For users who have not contacted the Rogers Technical Support Team, please try these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Ensure you are using the HDMI cable provided when obtaining the Rogers 4K Digital Terminal. If you choose to use your own personal HDMI cables, ensure it is either version 1.4 (4K resolution at 30Hz), 2.0 (4K resolution at 60Hz) or High Speed HDMI rated.
  2. Some users are using Stereo Receivers for their audio. Ensure all connected equipment are 4K compatible. If either the TV or Receivers are not 4K compatible, or not have the “4K pass through option”, then there may be no display when attempting to view in 4K.

If you are still experiencing issues, please send a PM to @CommunityHelps and we will be here to assist.

Hello @seadooxp30

Its indeed something to do with the firmware and the new Navigtr update on the boxes since the NB3 is having major issues with that update as well.

Try the HDMI 1 and see if that fixes and i hope it does. Replacing the box isn't going to do much honestly.

Hi Meowmix;

I've been having major issues with my NB 3 since the latest Navigtr update 2 weeks ago but have not seen a lot of wide spread complaints on the forums...I noticed in this thread that you refer to it...are you referring to this latest update and has Rogers acknowledged the problem with the NB 3 and this particular update?  I'm in the process of deciding whether to cancel my service as Rogers doesn't appear to be acknowleding there is a widespread problem and at some point I have to give up and move on...I'm assuming if it's widespread it'll be fixed sooner than later, if not I'm probably best to just give up and cancel my service.

Dear Meowmix,

Thank you so much for all your help.

As per my 4K box issue, I still have the issue after two weeks!

What they suggest to do is not the issue here. The issue is the Rogers box/Their network/ and Cisco and technicolor issue.

Hopefully Rogers get this right soon otherwise I'm so close to just cancel all my services with Rogers and move on.

I'm also in the same boat as the rest of you guys and the only information I can get out of them is they are working on it and be patient....Its been a week and a half without cable as this is my only box. If this isn't fixed soon, off to Bell I go...

Been 3 weeks for me. The issue is my 4K box only. My NB 3.0 and HD boxes are fine.

I'm already negosiating with BELL. They have 4K PVR which is much better ....

Hello @jcork

You won't get more information other then that. Most companies don't give put all the information. They only say that they know about it and working on it and thus I do believe it in my opinion but it should be fixed ASAP and the ones that have been without cable, shouldnt have to pay for that amount of time.
