I recently received a email concerning Rogers, discontinuing their use of Yahoo and for me to verify my email account so that I wouldn’t lose my email. I was wondering if this was the case and not a bogus email to try and get my information. It may sound paranoid, but there are some weird stuff going on out there. Just want to be sure.

This sounds like yet another bogus email attempting to obtain personal information. There have been numerous similar reports of these here recently.
I do not have a Rogers email account but I do have a Yahoo account, that I rarely use. Yahoo recently sent me a reminder to log into that account by a certain date to keep it active, but that's all.

Sounds like one my wife just received today titled " Secure Your Email – Migration Deadline Approaching " apparently from ' Rogers <donotreplymychart@mackenziehealth.ca> '. It said:
Email migration notice
We are discontinuing our partnership with Yahoo. To continue accessing your Rogers email, you must verify your account and complete the transition to Rogers Webmail before May 15.
Avoid service disruption.
Failure to complete the migration before May 15 may result in permanent loss of access to your email and services. Act now to avoid interruption.
Seamless Transition.
The migration process is simple and quick. Just verify your information and follow the on-screen steps to continue using your email without interruption.
A Google search revealed it seems there's a scam circulating that involves pretending to be Mackenzie Health or Mackenzie Health Foundation, and using their name, logo, or likeness to scam people....
I sent the e-mail to abuse@rogers.com asking if it was a scam. Meanwhile, and in case I never get an answer, did anyone else get this, and is it a scam (looks like it is)?

Per the earlier responses in this and other similar threads, these are scams. Why would Rogers use a Mackenzie Health email address?
