Someone called me today and told me about 40% discount from my bill and giving me free phone as a gift from rogers

Sames with thev40% off call. Looking through all the discussions there is no one from rogers say "that's not us". It's really concerning that the responses are "if it sounds too good it probably is" and "wow its getting hard to know whats a scam now!". Buck up and call it Roger's!! What kind of loser customer service doesn't warn people about an active scam?
