Ctv news net audio

Good day
Anybody else notice how ctv news network 17/103 audio changes between scenes?
Studio audio will be fine then they will cut to remote video scene and the audio changes almost cutting out, but really low volume. Then they cut back to studio anchor desk and it is fine.

It may be that they are using different audio formats for various segments.  If your audio is from a TV, Go to Rogers - Settings - Device Settings - Audio - HDMI Audio Output - Choose Stereo.

This just started today. Never been like that before.
I shouldn't have to go back and forth into the audio settings for different channels. I know cbc is very bad for flipping audio between stereo shows and dd5.1 for their commercials.
One reason I don't watch cbc, painfully bad audio.
Maybe ctv news is just having a problem today. We will see.

Btw I use a denon receiver.
