Super Bowl LIII, featuring the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams, is happening this Sunday February 3, 2019. Here’s what you need to know:
Watching on Digital or Ignite TV:
Viewers can watch this year’s game on CTV, CTV2, TSN and CBS.
The Interactive Programming Guide (IPG) listings will show the game starting at 6 p.m. but the kickoff will happen around 6:30 p.m.
The broadcast is not available in 4K.
Canadian and US Ads:
Viewers tuning to the US channel (CBS) will see the American ads, while those tuning to Canadian channels (CTV, CTV2, TSN) will see Canadians ads.
This only applies to the Super Bowl game itself (from the kickoff to the final play and celebration) and not the pre-game and post-game shows. Viewers tuning to CBS for the pre-game shows will see a Canadian feed right up until kick-off and again after the game has ended.
I know football fans cannot wait for Sunday to come. Who are you rooting for?
