Rogers Trade-Up Program

Hello Community,

With all of the new phones available, many of us are looking to upgrade our devices to the latest models. With that in mind, we’d like to let you know about our Rogers Trade-Up program to help offset the cost of getting a new device.

You can trade in phones, tablets, or Apple Watches from any carrier. You can get a quote for the trade-in value of your device by going to*

We look for three things when determining the value of your device:

  1. That it turns on,
  2. That the touchscreen works and isn’t cracked, and
  3. That all account information on the device (eg: iCloud/Find my iPhone credentials) has been removed.

You can learn more about the Trade-Up program by checking out our support article located here:

Have you checked out our new self-serve hub at all the information needed to manage your account and services online, 24/7, including troubleshooting tips, answers to most frequently asked questions, video tutorials, and more!

*The quoted value assumes that your phone turns on, that you have removed all account information on your device, and that the touchscreen works and isn't cracked. Devices that don't meet these criteria may be eligible for lower trade-in values. Depending on the age and condition of your device, it may not have any value. Rogers works with a third-party vendor to determine the value of all devices.

Hello @inuj,

Thanks for joining us in the community and congrats on this being your very first post! 👍

I understand that you traded-up two of your devices for a bill credit and are still waiting to receive the credit. Just to further clarify, was this request processed on or in-store?

Also, did you activate a new line or complete a hardware upgrade for each device trade-up that was done? This is one of the requirements that is included with the offer.

It's also important to note that for bill credits, it may take up to 3 billing cycles for the bill credit to appear on your invoice. Based on your post, it doesn't seem to have been a full 3 billing cycles yet. I'd recommend giving it a bit more time. 🙂

Hopefully, this helps and we look forward to your reply!
