Great news Community!
If you haven’t heard already, the wait is over for Samsung S6/S6 Edge users!
The Marshmallow 6.0.1 OS update is now available for your Samsung S6/S6 Edge!
As of August 22nd, Wi-Fi calling for Android will be available on the Samsung S6/S6 Edge.
For a step by step onboarding process, take a look at: How To: Set Up Android Wi-Fi Calling On Your Samsung S6 and S6 Edge.
If you have a non-Rogers Android device, Wi-Fi Calling will not work.
Check out Rogers Wi-FI Calling FAQs to understand more about Rogers Wi-Fi Calling, eligibility and how it works.
Just in time for the release of Nougat 7.0
After the upgrade, originating (outbound) and terminating (inbound) calls were not working... so, I chatted with Rogers support to disable VoLTE profile on my mobile phones.
Rogers should have text or email with a procedure to continue the onboarding process... definately, a bad customer experience
