Hey Community,

As of October 22, 2018, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) are taking part in a rotating strike.

This rotating strike targets a few specific locations at a time before moving on to other locations.

During that time, Canada Post services won’t be available in the affected area. However, Canada Post will continue to accept, process and deliver mail and parcels in all other areas.

The current locations targeted by the strike as of November 26, 2018 are:

  • Fraser Valley West (BC)
  • Hamilton (ON)
  • London (ON)
  • Royal City (BC)
  • Scarborough (ON)
  • Vancouver (BC)

We’ll continue to send paper bills during the rotating strike. We will also continue to complete other requests that we send through Canada Post, such as refund cheques or bill reprints. However, we want to let you know that the labour disruption may affect our delivery timelines.

We’ll try to provide updates each time the strike impacts a new area.

If you would like more information about the rotating strike, please refer them to the CUPW’s website, cupw.ca.
