This is in regards to the $10/month extra plan that was circulated via text message back in July, don't remember the specifics but for an extra $10 you get additional text massages or something, and you had until July 31 2018 to call in a opt-out - is it still possible to opt-out of it?

@Dlink10 : By way of clarification, if you were previously on the (old, grandfathered) "Anytime" plan, where your balance rolled over, you typically had a few months to notice that your plan changed without your knowledge and you could still revert to your old Anytime plan.
If, however, you actually agreed to whatever plan you're on now, it would be difficult to "switch back". Here's a link to the various changes this past year.

As mentioned by @RogersMaude above, if you simply wish to change your current plan/options, then you should be able to do that online or by calling.

Just wanted to mention that if you were originally on the "Anytime Plan " and got switched to the $10 a month plan and Rogers won't reinstate the old plan .... there are competitors out there that do still offer the "Anytime " type of pay as you go plan . Some of them even use the Rogers network .
Please let us know what you find out .
