Signal Strength 4g LTE - Nexus 6p

Canada647
I've Been Here Awhile

Hello, hoping someone can help

[at home] - Nexus 6p

my Rogers 4g LTE signal strength 100dbm++ <- this is what im concerned about
compared to

3g UMTS at 77 dbm
2g EDGE 67 dbm

Sometimes my calls drop on LTE and also people sound like robots.

I know that sounds funny but its the best explanation i can express.

At first i thought it was my phone; so i tried using an Iphone with similar results. So its not the device.

I live on Thorncliffe and Overlea (Toronto) East York... in an appartment building on the 30th floor.

When i use 3g or 2g the voice sound quality improves but its a pain in the rear to keep having to switch between the different network types. When im on the 4g LTE at street level signal improves dramatically.

Does 4G not work well at higher elevation?

is there something i can do to improve the signal strength on 4g LTE while at home?

@Canada647

In Phone settings turn "VoLTE" off, or "Enhanced call quality" Off. This will make the phone switch to 3G or 2G for phone calls.
