Re: Rogers Frequencies

Hello nkwong0

The frequencies are the same on Rogers BUT we need to know the device name in order to see IF Rogers has the same bands that this phone has.

Re: Rogers Frequencies

Yes for 3G (has 850 and 1900) but I'm doubtful for LTE.  1800/2100 is definitely not use by Rogers, and while 2600 is listed there, most North American carriers use FDD as duplex for LTE (instead of TDD as listed in your spec.)

Re: Rogers Frequencies

Hey FYI. I bought a Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime from Korea. Works flawless on the Rogers network.
This phone has the same specs as the Note 4, except for the screen size. Resolution is the same, processors the same etc...

Buying Korean version Note Edge

I'm thinking of buying a Korean version of note edge with the following spec

2G GSM GSM900,DCS1800,PCS1900
3G UMTS B1(2100),B2(1900),B5(850)
4G LTE B1(2100),B3(1800),B5(850),B7(2600), B8(900)B17(700)

Seems it should work with Rogers LTE for both B7 and B17.

I read this article

My question is: From the article, can I assume 2600MHz has completely cover the area of AWS? Therefore, missing B4 may not make any big difference for LTE coverage?

Thank you

Re: Rogers Frequencies

I'm thinking of importing a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 from Asia.  It is advertised to be compatible with:

2G Network ---GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900

3G Network ---HSDPA 850/ 900/ 1900/ 2100

4G Network---LTE 800/850/900/1700/1800/1900/2100/2600

LTE B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B6/B7/B8/B28.

Will LTE work in Canada?
