I've been around

Hey,

My friend is planning to buy a Oneplus 12r from India. Listed below is the network coverage mentioned on the box

LTE

GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 (No CDMA)
WCDMA: Bands 1/2/4/5/6/8/19
LTE-FDD: Bands 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/17/18/19/20/26/28/32/66
LTE-TDD:Bands 38/39/40/41
5G NR: n1/n2/n3/n5/n7/n8/n12/n20/n28/n38/n40/n41/n66/n77/n78

To my understanding rogers 5g and 4g network will be supported on the above bands from the phone?

It would be helpful if anyone from the community can confirm this

One noteworthy band missing is b71/n71. That aside, the VoLTE and WiFi Calling implantation for the 12r is not compatible with Rogers. This means, your device will use 3G for calling until the 3G sunset happens, which will either start late this year or in 2025. Once the 3G sunset happens, that device will not be able to make or receive calls on the Rogers or other Canadian or US networks.

If you want a OnePlus/OPPO device to work on Rogers.  Purchase the North American version from OnePlus directly.
